What is CyberJass?

CyberJass is a swiss Jass card game, more precisely a Schieber Jass game, that can be played on a PC. With this game, you can play with a partner against two opponents, all three simulated by the computer. You can also play it through the network by direct ip access. The missing players will be simulated by the computer.

 

What is interesting about it?

This game is easy going and permit to play many Schieber Jass variants, such as "pique double", "zig-zag", etc. The interest of this game is in the artificial intelligency, based on probabilistic principles instead at predefined schemes like ordinary games.

Who can play?

Advanced players and beginners will find their way. The game contains tips that permit to play easily, even if the player don't know the Jass rules. Off-course, a beginner will first need to understand the Jass before being able to win a game, but CyberJass display tips that permit to help the player during the learning period.

Better players will have to use all their knowledge for being able to beat the computer. For those who think that playing against a computer is lost by advance, don't be worried: The Jass is a chance, deduction and risk estimation game, so the computer is not advantaged. It is your Jass gamer qualities that will make the difference against the cold logic of the computer.

CyberJass run under Windows 2000/XP/Vista/Seven

Minimal configuration:

PII 266Mhz, 32MB Ram, Ecran 800x600.

Suggested configuration:

PIII 500Mhz, 64Mb Ram, Ecran 1024x768.

Necessary space:

10 MB HardDisk.

How can it be buyed?

Its a Shareware, it means a software that can be downloaded and installed free, but with limited functionnalities, in this case only 8 rounds are available. Then the same hands are dealed again. If the program gives satisfaction to the player, he can then buy it. Afterwards, he will get a serial number that permit to unlock the game and play with the full functionalities.
